About a year ago, I bought my first home. It’s a nice place, not too big, but there’s more than enough room for myself and the occasional guest. It had one major flaw when I purchased it, though. The previous owners had purchased the home in the 70s, renovated it, and then made no more updates. Maybe it’s just me, but 70s decor is just not just not my thing. Between the shiny foil wallpaper and the tye-dyed carpet-I hadn’t even known that tye-dyed carpet existed-there was a lot of work to be done.

Wallpaper was removed, paint was applied and things began to take shape. When it got to be time to start getting the old carpet out and replacing it with something more my style, I had to locate attractive, yet affordable floor covering. I decided to begin in the entry and the kitchen because that’s the first place guests would see. Still, I knew I had to keep the cost down, since eventually I would have to replace it throughout my whole home.

A major service provider in flooring, national floors direct, was one of the places I looked at. It had come recommended by a friend of mine who’d just redone his kitchen in hardwood, and since I liked the look of it I decided to give them a try. It wasn’t the only place I looked, obviously, but having people come to my home grant me to compare various samples against my walls and furniture rather than having to go to a showroom and imagine how things would look made me favorably inclined.

I didn’t have the budget for hardwood, but the laminate selection they’d was fairly wide and I there were several options that fit well with my cabinets and countertops. (Those, fortunately enough, weren’t bright orange or anything else particularly unsightly so I haven’t needed to replace them.) I ended up selecting a laminate that looked like cherry that looks excellent in the entryway.

The prices for the laminate at national floors direct were fairly comparable to other places that I’d visited; they were neither the highest nor the lowest even though it wasn’t a particularly large range. The fact that there was no extra charge for the stairs between the entry and the kitchen, and that moving most of my huge furniture was also included, was also a factor in my decision.

I was so pleased with the job done by national floors direct, that several months later I also purchased some carpet from them for some of the living areas and bedrooms of my home. The crew that came to install the carpets wasn’t the same crew, but they were equally professional, and I’m very pleased with the work that they did and the look that it brought to my new home.

National Floors Direct is one of the major service provider in flooring. The laminate prices at national floors are similar to prices found at other stores. The prices that they offered were not the cheapest or the most pricey, but the range between these was not very huge. The variety of laminates they’ve is fairly wide. They’ve inexpensive floor covering. You’ll find carpets for living room and bedrooms too. They offer to come to your places and show various samples. Their crew is very professional and they have various crews for various departments.
